I was inspired to create fiber art pieces based on Byron Myrick's "quilted ceramics," pictured above. He explained that after firing a piece he broke it and reassembled the sections and fired it again.

I love to make little zipper bags. Here is a different way to put in the zipper, using only one side of the coils.
